|
|
Hi all,
I'm looking for some information on the 6TEC models, but I can't find much information in English, so I hope you guys don't mind that I ask for some information in English, as you seem to have been discussing these models on this forum.
I live in Belgium, and can easily order stuff from Germany, but I don't understand a lot of German, so I can't really grasp all of the things that have been said in here.
* Are the 6TEC models only available in Germany? I can't seem to find any information on the net on these models that is not in German. Or should I look for a different name in other countries (They seem to be the same cars as the super bit char-g's)
* Can an older microsizer 27Mhz race against any of the 27A/B/C models of the 6TEC series?
* Would you recommend buying the 6TEC models over the other microsizers, and why (not)?
Thank you all for considering my English question, I hope this isn't against the forum rules. |

Hi MoobY,
you could take a look here: www.Microsizers.com
This site is the US-Distributor for Tomy Bit Char-G or Super Bit Char-G.

Sorry, due to legal reasons we are not able to giving you recommondations. But I would like to answer your questions and give you a brief overview.
MicroSizer is the brand for Europe, America and Australia. Elsewhere same cars are named BitChar-G. Tomy ist the brand behind it. Talking about the 6Tec it can be said, recent series run quite well. But the first 6Tec had a lot of trouble: Limited range, loss of control, esp. delayed motor stop. Unfortunately nobody can tell from outside whether it´s an improved version or not. And you can´t be sure, they run with other 27 MHz Cars.
Right now MicroSizers are not at all alone in the market. There are requirements for more realistic cars (e.g. Real-X, ZipZap, Kyosho 1/80 ) and cars with elaborated RC components like proportional control (ZipZap SE, X-Trek, Digi-Q). Latest release which meets both trends are the fully proportional Metl Tech Racers: http://www.wegotu.com/forums/attachment.php?id=2364 _________________ Arbeit ist der Fluch der trinkenden Klasse (O. | Does anyone have both a basic microsizer (or bit char-g's) and a 6TEC (respectively super BCG's)? Do these models' frequencies interfere? |

Yes, usually they interfere. _________________ Arbeit ist der Fluch der trinkenden Klasse (O. Wilde) |
